There are conflicting reports on when Liana's vehicle was actually seen in the parking lot of the park. Some have reported seeing it there the evening before and others before the time reported she left for work. This is proving to be a problem and Edmonton LE hope to tighten the timeline soon.

Everyone is a potential suspect in the case of missing pregnant mom Liana White, including her husband, say police.
"In all reality we have to take a look at everybody who has something to do with her life," said acting Insp. Jamie Ewatski. "I think, to be fair, whether it be close family members, aunts, uncles, friends at work ... we have to look at everybody. And that's normal. We do that in every investigation."
Police believe Liana's disappearance is suspicious, but because there's no hard evidence that a crime was committed, they're still treating it as a missing persons case, Ewatski said.
"If there was some evidence that we had that a crime had taken place, we would let you know," Ewatski said. "But at this time it's still a missing persons case. We have no indication that a crime has taken place, if she's been abducted, assaulted."
White, who is four months pregnant, went missing early Tuesday morning. Her SUV was found in a gravel parking lot next to a sports field near 157 Avenue and 116 Street, 12 blocks from her home. Her purse was found lying on the ground, and a pair of shoes and cell phone were also recovered. Her wallet was missing.
But police still haven't nailed down the exact time she disappeared. Police said Michael White reported last seeing her at 6:15 a.m. when she left for work at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, but other reports have put her truck at the scene as early as the night before, Ewatski said.
City employee Darryl MacMillan told police he saw the Explorer parked in the lot at 5:50 a.m. Several other witnesses reported seeing the truck in the lot before 6:15.
Cops continue to go door to door in the Castledowns area. In all, 15 officers are assigned to the case. They're also using Edmonton regional search and rescue and may also bring in search and rescue dog teams.
Ewatski said police are making progress, but admitted investigations can be painstaking. He alluded to the Punky Gustavson case, in which it took police a decade to catch up to her killer.
"This is a major investigation that will take time."
Liana's husband, Michael White, didn't speak to the media today, but his brother Bryan, a Brantford, Ont., firefighter/paramedic, made an impassioned plea for help yesterday.
Flanked by his wife Amanda and mother, Carol Forbes, Bryan White asked firefighters, paramedics, members of the Armed Forces and even farmers to help winkle out tips.
"For the farmers out there, if you can just keep an eye on things, it's a big country, the police are doing what they can," said White, who flew to Edmonton Wednesday night from Ontario to be with his brother.
"You see this kind of stuff every day on the news but you don't realize it until it hits your own community," White said. "This could be anybody's family and it just happens to be ours."
Any comparisons to the high-profile American case of Laci Peterson, killed by her husband, are over the top, Ewatski said.
"You can think what you want," he said. "It is a missing person and it raises a lot of suspicion and there are a lot of comparisons, because people watch television.
"People get influenced by what they see on television and think sometimes 'that happens everywhere.' Will there be comparisons? I'm sure there will be."

here is the lastest on this case being reported on the news.......
Michael White was again interviewed today by LE, said it is to help clear up the time issue. A woman going into the gym at the Y across the field, saw the vehicle before 6 am and says she can verify the time from her scan card for the gym.
LE is also stating that they have no evidence that a crime has been committed. Now in my opinion, that's just wrong because of the way the vehicle was left and her bank cards and ID's strewn about. HELLO?? RED FLAG PEOPLE.
Strangers are getting involved with trying to find this woman. Many are out hitting the streets and off beaten paths to try to locate her.
So my friends, since I am in this area as well, it seems only right of me to not only put this out here on this site in hopes many will read and get invoved, but i need to be out there as well. I will do my best to come in everynight and update the site on this case as well as the others.
So until i speak with you all again, be safe and love each other.

Searchers start hunt for missing Edmonton woman CTV.ca News Staff
Edmonton Police have begun to search in earnest for a missing Edmonton woman who is four months pregnant.
A specially-trained search and rescue unit started systematically working through the bushes and fields around where Liana White's sport utility vehicle was found Tuesday.
"We're going to be covering the areas to the west, to the northwest and to the north for the weekend," said acting Insp. Adrian Marr on Saturday.
The Edmonton Police Service said in a statement that the search was standard procedure and would take several days.
At the same time, a police forensics unit showed up at the White family home to collect evidence there.
Michael White, the missing woman's husband, gathered up friends and family on Friday night to conduct their own search.
"We've been doing the best that we can," said Brian White, Michael's brother.
"Obviously, it's a huge land and you can only cover so much ground. Like I said, we're just doing the best we can."
On Friday, the police re-interviewed Michael. He had said she left for work at 6:15 a.m. local time on Tuesday, but other witnesses put her vehicle in the park's parking lot at least 20 minutes earlier.
However, police say they are only conducting a missing person investigation and have no evidence a crime has been committed.
Liana White is described as 5'4", and weighing about 150 pounds. She has a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair that falls midway down her back.

The light outside Liana White's north-end house burns brightly as police, search teams and her family continue to scour the area for evidence of the missing pregnant woman.
Dozens of friends, family and even total strangers turned out to search the fields and ditches along 167 Avenue, between 127 and 142 streets last night. It was the second evening that White's husband, Michael, had led a search of his own.
"I can't just sit at home while this is going on," he told the Sun.
Liana's mother, Edmonton resident Maureen Kelly, who was also out searching, called the situation "a mother's worst nightmare."
Kelly said she remains hopeful that her daughter will be found alive, and had a message for her: "No matter what she's going through, I hope she stays strong."
They called the search off just before 9 p.m., but vowed to be out again today.
Police said yesterday they've expanded their search for White, a 29-year-old clerk at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, who vanished Tuesday.
Search-and-rescue teams and police officers will cover an area north and west of the sports field at 157 Avenue and 116 Street, where White's Ford Explorer was discovered around 7:30 a.m.
"Of course our number 1 priority is for her health and her safety. So we're frustrated we haven't found her or she hasn't come forward," said Acting Insp. Jamie Ewatski, of the Edmonton Police Service.
White's disappearance has been called suspicious, but police say there's no hard evidence to suggest a crime was committed. It remains a missing-persons case.
Recovered from the scene where White's SUV was found were a purse, a pair of shoes and a cellphone. Her wallet was missing.
At White's home, where she lives with her husband and their young daughter, family members waited anxiously for word from police.
The lamp outside has remained on all week - even during the day - as though beckoning her to come home.
Ewatski commended the family for launching their own parallel search effort.
"(Michael White) took it upon himself and some members of the public to go out and do the best he can for his wife," said Ewatski. "That's great. He's concerned."
The official search area is mainly residential, but includes a large section of greenbelt. So far, approximately 30 blocks have been covered.
Searchers are looking for clothing and other personal effects that could lead them to White.
Earlier in the day, Michael White left his home for a short time to meet with investigators in the case.
Ewatski said White came in on his own free will to review and validate information already gathered.
"The interview went very well with our investigators. Things are progressing and he was able to help us out with some matters," he said. "Those matters are between him and the investigators."
Police have fielded more than 50 calls on the case, including some alleged sightings of White. So far, none has panned out.
