Homicide Investigation - John William Leonard Investigating Station: Troop N - Swifthingyer Date of Incident : 09/08/1970 Location of Incident: Private Y shaped driveway that leads to the main entrance of Buck Hill Falls Lodge, Buck Hill Falls, Barrett Township, Monroe County, PA. Case Synopsis: On Tuesday, September 8, 1970 at approximately 3:45 PM, John William Leonard, was discovered dead in his taxi cab on the grounds of Buck Hill Falls Lodge, Buck Hill Falls, Barrett Township, Monroe County, PA. Leonard's black 1966 Plymouth sedan was discovered approximately 150 feet south of the main entrance to the lodge in a slightly secluded area. Leonard was pronounced dead at the scene due to multiple gun shot wounds. At approximately 2:40 PM Micks Taxi Service received a call from a white male requesting service from Buck Hill Falls Lodge to Mountianhome, PA, a distance of approximately five miles. At 2:41 PM the victim left Micks Taxi Garage in Cresco, PA, for the two-mile ride to Buck Hill Falls Lodge. The last radio transmission from the victim was at 2:44 PM when he was advised that he would have a second fare after completing the run from Buck Hill Falls Lodge to Mountainhome. An employee of the lodge saw the victim going up the drive toward the main building and the employee then saw the victim's vehcile stop and a white male between 25 to 30 years of age approach the vehicle. The actor who approached the vehicle was wearing a bright blue sport coat and dark framed glasses. The actor was carrying a white bag. The victim never showed to pick up his second fare and a search of the area revealed the victim at 3:45 PM. Physical Evidence: An autopsy was conducted on the victim and projectiles, which may be suitable for comparison, were recovered. The murder weapon is believed to be a .22 caliber weapon. Homicide Investigaton Investigating Station: Troop B, Washington Date of Incident: January 8, 2000 Location of Incident: Interstate 70 eastbound, South Strabane Twp., Washington County Case Synopsis: On 01/08/2000 at approximately 12:10 a.m. John Swoger, W/N-M-20, Richeyville, PA, was driving his vehicle east on I-70 in the area of the Beau St. Exit. Anthony Wargo, W/N-M-24, Richeyville, PA, was a passenger in the Swoger vehicle. At that time, they approached a vehicle described as a green, four-door Chevrolet Blazer being operated by a white male. The operator of the Blazer was driving erratically. When Swoger attempted to pass him, the driver fired a shot from a handgun through the passenger window of the Swoger vehicle. The bullet struck Wargo in the neck, and he subsequently died from the wound. Criminal Homicide Investigation - Carloine Ann Brader Investigating Station: Troop K- Skippack Barracks Date of Incident : 07/21/97 Location of Incident: The Pennsylvania Turnpike, 2 miles west of exit number 27, Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania Case Synopsis: On Monday, July 21, 1997, the dead body of Caroline Ann Brader was found on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, two miles west of exit number . 27, Willow Grove, PA. Her boyfriend last saw Caroline Ann Brader, a known prostitute, on Sunday, July 20th, 1997. She was seen shortly before midnight, getting into a white van at 8th and Chew Streets, Allentown, PA. The body of Caroline Ann Brader was found Monday, July 21, 1997 in the afternoon along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. A passing truck driver located her body. Her body was found in a grassy area just over the guard rail in Upper Dublin Township Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The Montgomery County Coroner Halbert E. Fillinger performed an autopsy on the victim. Fillinger ruled the cause of death as strangulation; and the manner of death a homicide. The Pennsylvania State Police and Montgomery County Detective Bureau have initiated a full criminal homicide investigation into the death of Caroline Brader. This is still a very active investigation and any information from the public could be the key in solving this case. Criminal Homicide Investigation Investigating Station: Troop M - Bethlehem Barracks Date of Incident : 09/11/1997 Location of Incident: 2147 Chelsea Lane, Hellertown, Lower Saucon Township, Northhampton County, PA Case Synopsis: It the Pennsylvania State police, upon request of the Lower Saucon Township Police Department, is investigating the death of a female discovered in a residence on Chelsea Lane, Lower Saucon Township, Northampton County, PA. The victim was discovered Friday, Sept. 12, 1997 at or about 7:10 a.m.. The victim was reported missing by her husband the night of September 11th, 1997. Information was subsequently received which led to the Lower Saucon Township police to a residence at 2147 Chelsa Lane, where the body of Ms. Fimianowas discovered. An autopsy was performed on the victim with the North Hampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek ruling the cause of death as a result of a gunshot wound to the head and strangulation and in the manner; homicide. Accordingly, to the PA state police have initiated the full criminal homicide investigation into the death of the Charlotte Fimiano. The victim was employed by Weichert Realtors, 2350 Road, Bethlehem, PA. The Chelsa Lande home was for sale through Weichert Realtors and was vacant at the time. Criminal Homicide Investigation - Susan G. Reinert Investigating Station: Troop H – Harrisburg Date of Incident : 06/25/1979 Location of Incident: Parking lot of Host Inn, Swatara Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania Case Synopsis: The nude and battered body of Susan G. Reinert was found in the trunk of her vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of the Host Inn. Charges were filed in the investigation, however, the bodies of her two children, Karen - age 11 and Michael - age 10, have never been found. Physical Evidence: Photograph Disovered in William S. Bradfield's Effects This photograph was discovered with Mr. William S. Bradfield's effects and appears to depict a stone standing upright in a wooded area as some sort of marker. The picture was taken sometime prior to 1986 but we are not sure of the location. We are unsure as to whether this photograph has any relevance to the investigation. The City of New Castle Police Department, Lawrence County continues their investigation into the December 3, 1999, Homicide of Yvonne Richards.
On December 3, 1999, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the body of Yvonne Richards was discovered on the property of the Union Baptist Church located at 251 West Grant Street in New Castle. Her partially clothed body was found lying face down behind the church marquee, as to hit from passersby. The last time she was seen alive was 12:30 a.m., that morning. She was viewed on videotape as she left alone from her boyfriend's apartment in the downtown New Castle area, and according to her boyfriend, she was walking home. Her body was later found about three blocks from her residence. Investigators state the cause of her death was ruled as manual strangulation and blunt trauma to the head; a motive remains unknown.
Yvonne Richard's last known address was in the 300 block of Halco Drive in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

The Pennsylvania State Police, Newport, Perry County, continues their investigation into the December 1993, Homicide of Lynne Marie Stansfield and Dale Gene Wolf.
This case remains unsolved and investigators believe that the public may hold the clues they need to solve it and bring the person to persons responsible for this crime to justice.
On the morning of December 8, 1993, at approximately 1:00 a.m., authorities state that they received a report of a structure fire at 419 Linton Road, Duncannon, Perry County, Pennsylvania. After the fire was extinguished, the bodies of Lynn Marie Stansfield and Dale Wolf were discovered inside their residence. The investigation revealed that the home had been set on fire in an attempt to conceal the homicides. The autopsy revealed that both victims had been shot to death.

The Pennsylvania State Police, New Castle, continues their investigation into the 1983 Homicide of Peggy Sue Hogue. The case remains unsolved, and investigators feel that additional or updated information will increase their chances of apprehending the person or persons responsible for her death. Authorities state that on the morning of June 12, 1983, the body of 24-year-old Peggy Sue Hogue was found in a ravine just off of River Road, Perry Township, Lawrence County. The autopsy revealed that she died as a result of blunt force trauma to the head and neck, and had what appeared to be choke marks on her throat. The investigation revealed that Hogue had been at the Parkgate Bar in Ellwood City during the early morning hours of June13, 1983. She was last seen alive at approximately 5:00 a.m., hitchhiking along Lawrence Avenue, just outside of Ellwood City in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

Donald Edward Seebold III - Homicide Victim Crime: Homicide Investigation Date of Release: April 19, 1999 The Pennsylvania State Police, Selingsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, continue their investigation into the July 1997, homicide of Donald Edward Seebold III. The 21 year old Seebold was killed on July 13, 1997, by an unknown suspect or suspects in Centre Township, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. Seebold was beaten about the head and face, his death was a result of blunt trauma to the head, and investigators believe it was inflicted with some sort of object. Authorities state that at approximately 2:00 a.m., Seebold had been walking east along Troxelville Road, after just leaving a pig roast party. He had traveled approximately three (3) miles when, at this location, his friends later passing by in a car, observed him laying face down in the middle of the road. By all accounts, Seebold was still alive at this point. His friends assuming he was passed out, placed him in the rear seat of their car. The next morning, after attempts to awake Seebold were unsuccessful they discovered he was deceased.

Carmelo Molina - Homicide Victim Crime: Homicide Investigation Date of Release: April 19, 1999 The Kennett Square Police Department, Chester County, Pennsylvania, continues their investigation into the December 1998, Homicide of Carmelo Molina. The forty-seven year old Molina worked in the Mushroom industry and lived alone on the second floor of a rooming house located in the 300 block of East Linden Street in Kennett Square Borough. He was described by family and friends as very shy and generous, the type of person who would avoid any kind of trouble. Molina's body was discovered in his residence by a friend on December 13, 1998, he had been stabbed to death. Molina was last seen alive during the afternoon hours of December 6, 1998; investigators state the condition of the body suggested that Molina had been dead the better part of the week.

Homicide Victim - Donald Lee Showman II Crime: Robbery / Homicide Date of Release: April 13, 1999 The Pennsylvania State Police, Mercer, continue their investigation into the Robbery and Homicide of Donald Lee Showman II. At approximately 8:00 a.m., Showman was discovered lying dead outside of his home in Lackawannock Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Investigators have determined that the victim was dropped off at his home in an unconscious state and later died. Showman's death was the result of a severe head injury he received earlier that evening at a different location. Investigators have located a female subject who was with Showman that evening. She and the victim had been at Frank's Sports Bar in the city of Youngstown, Ohio, when she discovered the victim unconscious in a patio area of the bar. The investigation revealed that the victim reportedly became involved in a fight outside of the bar when he suffered a blow to his head. The severe head injury rendered the victim unconscious, at which point he was robbed of his wallet, money and shoes. Authorities believe that there are several persons who were present at the bar at the time he was injured and know who is responsible for the victim's injury and subsequent robbery.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is Offering Up To a $1,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the death of a yet unidentified female.
The Pennsylvania State Police, Carlisle, continue their investigation into the Homicide of a female whose identity, to date remains a mystery. On December 10, 1993, the body of a white female was found sexually assaulted and strangled in a mountainous area along Whiskey Springs Road in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
According to a witness account, a few days prior to the finding of the body, two men were seen standing next to a Bronco type vehicle with a woman, fitting the description of the the victim, in the middle of Whiskey Springs Road, not far from where the body was discovered. the vehicle was described as being similar to a Ford Bronco, two-tone in color with a white top and a dark bottom. It had a spare tire hung on the back with a soft cover; the vehicle was covered with mud. Both men seen with the woman were white, the one subject stood between 6 feet, 2 inches and 6 feet, 4 inches tall, 35-40 years of age with a full beard, mustache and dark brown or black hair. He was wearing a cap and a red and black shirtcoat. The second subject stood between 5 feet and 11 inches and 6 feet tall with a narrow hooked nose. He had a thin build with a scraggly beard, brown shoulder length scraggly hair and was wearing a hip length beige jacket.

120 - 135 lbs.
Shoulder length blonde
Gray or blue eyes and wore contact lens
Had a mole like growth above her right ear just within the hair line
A small cross shaped scar on the inside of her left forearm and a two inch scar on the outside of her left ankle

The West Goshen Township Police Department and the Chester County Detectives continue their investigation into the August 27, 1997, Homicide of Konstantinos "Gus" Boulias. At approximately 2:40 A.M., Boulias after a struggle, was shot to death in a hallway of his home and fell into the bedroom where his wife and daughter were sleeping. The suspect(s) then fled the victim’s residence which is located on Five Points Drive, two blocks south of West Chester Pike in West Goshen Township, Chester County, PA., without taking anything.

Case Facts: Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $ 1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Carl Devalia.
Chester County Detectives, West Chester, PA., continue their investigation into the homicide of Carl Devalia. On February 2, 1990, the 40 year old Devalia was reported missing to authorities, after failing to return to his residence in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway, Coatesville. On September 13, 1993, the skeletal remains, positively identified by dental records as Devalia, were discovered by hunters in a wooded area along Misty Patch Road just off of West Chester Road. An Autopsy revealed that the cause of death had been multiple stab wounds. Investigators believe that Devalia's death may have been drug related.
