A Houston mother has now been missing for several days.
It's believed the last place she was seen was the chiropractic clinic she and her husband run in the 2000 block of Antoine.
Police said they do not think that she left on her own.
It's unusual for someone to disappear in broad daylight on a busy street.
But that's what police believe may have happened in northwest Houston.
Dr. Tom Superville has not seen his wife since last Friday.
It is the fourth night that Dr. Melinda Superville has been missing.
The chiropractor was last seen Friday afternoon outside the office she shares with her husband in northwest Houston.
"She's a warm caring mother, we have a loving relationship. She loves her son dearly. This is totally uncharacteristic of Melinda," said her husband, Dr. Tom Superville.
Their 2-and-a half-year-old son doesn't know yet that his mother is missing
Dr. Superville has waited with family in Bellaire and fears the worst.
"She's got her finger on the pulse of that baby all the time. And for all this time to go by, it's my opinion someone must have snatched her," he said.
The Supervilles live just around the corner from the office. Melinda Superville often walked to work.
Her keys were found dangling in the clinic door.
Melinda Superville's keys were found dangling in the door.
Sources in the Houston police department said they do suspect foul play.
"They searched the house, they searched the office, they searched the garage … and nothing," Dr. Superville says.
The Supervilles met in college and have been together 20 years.
"Anybody that has seen anything, ya'll can help reunite my family. I mean it's such a tragedy. I don't know what to do," Dr. Superville said.
There doesn't seem to be a clue as to what happened.
Dr. Superville said he's offered to take a polygraph test, but so far investigators haven't scheduled one.
Tuesday, the family will hand out more flyers in their quest to find out what happened.
