IQALUIT, Nunavut -- A search was continuing yesterday for three hunters missing in Nunavut.
They were part of a group hunting on Charles Island last week.
Officials said the three were last seen canoeing home Sunday night, but the boat was found empty on Monday.
The rescue co-ordination centre at CFB Trenton, Ont., said a Hercules transport plane, a privately owned aircraft and two boats were being used in the search.
The hunters were believed to be members of one family, but no other details were released.
