MISSING! Sariah Lynn Olsen $10,000 Reward for information as to Sariah's whereabouts! Minot Police Department (701) 852-0111 Minot Crime Stoppers (701) 852-7463 or Natl Center for Missing Adults (800) 690-3463 HELP SARIAH'S FAMILY & FRIENDS Sariah Lynn Olsen disappeared from her Minot, North Dakota, home on Friday, November 25th. She is 27 years old, but because of Myotonic Dystrophy, may appear younger than she really is. Sariah is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 112 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. She now has shoulder-length hair. Sariah was last seen around 2:30 on Friday afternoon. Sariah's husband, Andrew, left for work at 2:30 pm and returned at about 10:00-10:30 pm. Sariah was not at home when he arrived. Andrew called Sariah's parents, relatives, and friends who also live in Minot. No one knew where she was. Andrew then went with a relative to look for Sariah until about 1:00 am. Andrew contacted the Minot Police Department on Saturday and has been cooperating fully in the investigation. Sariah's winter jacket is gone, but her purse and medication were left behind. Nothing else seems to be missing. She is believed to have been wearing light-blue blue jeans, a leopard-print shirt, tan White-Stag boots that go up to the lower calf and have a black sole. The black winter jacket zips in the front and the hood may also attach with a zipper. Sariah is extremely friendly, very trusting, and could be persuaded easily. Sariah comes from a very close family. She called her parents almost every day. It is very uncharacteristic to just leave and never call, thus the family does not consider her a runaway. MINOT, N.D. - Relatives of a woman who disappeared from her home Nov. 25 have offered a $10,000 reward for information. Police say they have reports that Sariah Lynn Olsen was spotted in Bismarck.
Olsen, 27, is described as about 5-foot-6, with brown, shoulder-length hair and hazel eyes, and a distinguishing scar.
"She has a scar from an accident, from the left corner of her mouth to her left ear," Minot Police Lt. Steve Kukowski said.
Olsen has a learning disability called myotonic dystrophy and she left her medication behind, which might make her confused, Kukowski said.
"She operates at a diminished capacity of about a 15-year-old. She may appear a little younger than she is," he said.
Kukowski said authorities are analyzing Olsen's computer.
"Her computer is at the state lab and we're looking at it. We're trying all options," the police lieutenant said.
Police said Olsen's husband, Andrew, came home from work to find her missing. A Web site on the case describes her as friendly and trusting. It says she comes from a close family and called her parents every day.
"She didn't work, didn't have a large circle of friends. When the husband left for work and came home, she was gone, Kukowski said.
He said the reward is being offered by church members, friends and relatives of Olsen.
