COEUR d'ALENE, Idaho -- Three people were found slain in a home and an Amber Alert was issued yesterday for two children who live there, authorities said.
A neighbour called police at about 6:15 p.m. Monday reporting "suspicious circumstances" at the house on a bay of Lake Coeur d'Alene, Capt. Ben Wolfinger said.
The bodies bore obvious signs of injury, but the identities of the victims and cause of death remained undetermined, Wolfinger said.
An Amber Alert was issued for Shasta Groene, 8, and her brother, Dillon, 9.
The children lived at the house with their mother, sheriff's dispatch supervisor Barb McDonald said.
