(Spartanburg) December 21, 2005 - An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 10-year-old from Spartanburg that authorities think is with her 16-year-old sister. Police say the two girls left their grandmother's home Wednesday morning after the 55-year-old woman was beaten. 10-year-old Tylameka Chantell Hines is described as being 5'3" tall, weighing about 60 pounds with brown eyes and a pony tail. Authorities have identified a suspect. 16-year-old Keonte Lavale Hines is described as 5'10", weighing about 110 pounds with brown eyes and a pony tail. The sisters are believed to be traveling in a burgundy 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix with SC tag 890-MPG. The car has an American flag on the trunk. Authorities don't know what direction the two were heading in. The grandmother, 55-year-old Mae Allie Hardy, was attacked about 7:49am. She was being treated for her injuries at a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. More information as it becomes available.

The Spartanburg County Sherrif's Office canceled the Amber Alert on Wednesday evening after the girl and suspect were located in Georgia. The suspect will be charged in the case.
