The Kansas State Police issued the Amber Alert after the girl was abducted on Tuesday.

Kelsey Stelting 17 years old. She's 5 feet 4 inches tall 110 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

The KBI said the girl was kidnapped from her house, about two blocks near a business called Wood Lumber, and made to enter a white van. The van was thought to have been headed south of Independence about 6:35 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75.

The Kansas State Police canceled the Amber Alert after the girl was found safe in Montgomery County. No further information on a suspect is available at this time.

So I guess she wasnt missing, It was all a hoax. Its to bad that all those people went looking for her when she wasnt realy missing. I think about the time my son was missing for 4 hours when the bus driver made him get off at the wrong stop. It was 7 miles from our house. He was only in the 1st grade. I was out of my mind not knowing where he was. Not only the wrong stop they put him on the wrong bus. I will never forget that as long as I live. I can imagne how the familys of missing children feel. Stuff like this hurts the amber alert. Should she be punshed?
