ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Two arrests have been made in the shooting death of an Albuquerque teen. Shortly after the shooting Tuesday, police said they had suspects in the slaying of Darlene Pacheco, 16. Late Thursday night, police arrested Jeremy Gurule and Jose Antonio Huizar, 15, in Pacheco's death. Police said they believe the shooting had to do with a fight between Huizar and Pacheco that happened two weeks ago. Detectives said Huizar wanted revenge after he lost the fight. Police said a witness came forward putting Huizar and Gurule at the scene of the killing.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Police said they got a phone call about 11:30 p.m. Sunday about shots being fired at the Wendy's restaurant near the intersection of Central Avenue and Lomas Boulevard.
While an officer was on his way to the scene, he was waved down at Central Avenue and Eighth Street, where he found three male victims suffering from gunshot wounds, police said.
Initial reports are that the shooting happened while the victims were in the drive-through at Wendy's.
Police said that after the shooting, the victims drove down Central Avenue, possibly trying to chase down the shooters, and pulled over at Eighth Street.
One victim had a gunshot wound to the stomach, another had a gunshot wound to the back, and a bullet grazed the back of a third man in the car, police said.
Another person who received a phone call about his friends being shot was speeding to the scene, police said, when he rolled his car on Central Avenue and Rio Grande Boulevard.
Police said they do not know who the shooters are, but they are investigating the shooting as a gang-related crime.
The condition of the shooting and car accident victims was unknown as of Monday morning.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A New Mexico man indicted on 19 counts of aggravated murder, kidnapping, rape and sodomy in Oregon plans to fight extradition.
Joel Patrick Courtney, 39, appeared briefly Thursday in an Albuquerque courtroom. The charges against him could add up to a death sentence.
Judge Sharon Walton said Oregon officials have 30 days to file extradition papers, though that deadline could be extended to 90 days.
Benton County, Ore., District Attorney Scott Heiser detailed Wednesday the charges against Courtney in the killing of Brooke Wilberger, a 19-year-old college student whose body has not been found.
Wilberger vanished in Corvallis 14 months ago, shortly after returning to her home state. She had just finished her freshman year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Courtney, who grew up in Oregon, has been in custody in New Mexico on an unrelated rape and kidnapping charge.
