A 15-year-old honor student vanished from her Queens block this week, and her desperate mother has turned to the police - and the public - for help finding her. Shenier Denton was last seen by a neighbor at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the apartment the teen shares with her mother on 119th Ave. in St. Albans, police said. She had called her mother, 33-year-old Leonie Hannah, at work to say she was going to the store to buy a phone card to call her younger brother in their native Jamaica. But she did not call her mother again, which was unusual, so a worried Hannah, a health aide at Long Island Jewish Hospital, rushed home. She found her daughter had gone, leaving her cell phone, wallet and "best friend" - her camera - behind. "She's a quiet girl, not a girl of the streets," said a sobbing Hannah. "She told me she'd never run away. I am worried to death about her." Shenier, a 10th-grader at Andrew Jackson High School, is 5-feet-4 and weighs 150 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (800) 577-TIPS. nydailynews.com/08-27-2005/front/v-echo/story/340965p-291052c.html
